The film “Where Olive Trees Weep” offers a searing window into the struggles and resilience of the Palestinian people under Israeli occupation. Featuring Palestinian journalist and therapist Ashira Darwish, Jewish therapist Dr. Gabor Maté, grassroots activist Ahed Tamimi, Israeli journalist Amira Hass, and others. Followed by Q+A with discussants from Chicago area orginaztions. Bring a friend and help raise local awareness of this powerful documentary. Co-sponsors include CAPA, American Muslims for Palestine Chicago, Jewish Voice for Peace Chicago, Evanston Ceasefire Coalition, and Lake Street Church’s Peace & Justice Committee.
